Jake Houser
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jake Houser is passionate about the world of music and education. Jake currently works as a pianist, composer and educator in the greater Seattle area.
His passion for vocal jazz shines through in his arrangements. He leads clinics for students and educators, sharing his enthusiasm for the art form with local music programs.
Jake’s recent accomplishments include winning the 2024 Wellspring Ensemble Composition Competition, and showcasing his vocal jazz arranging at the 2023 ACDA National Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. Both his compositions and arrangements have been performed at universities all over the state of Washington.
Jake is an active member in the choral community, working with Wellspring Ensemble and Blue Street Voices. You can also watch Jake perform with his band, Treehouse, featuring original rock and funk tunes.
